With more than 40 years in the restaurant industry, Owner and Executive Chef Loucas Sofocli began his culinary journey at the former LouCas Restaurant in Edison, New Jersey, where he built a reputation for quality, consistency, and authentic Italian flavors.

Today, Chef Loucas proudly continues that legacy through his acclaimed restaurants, Fresco in Milltown and Ponte Vecchio in Old Bridge, celebrating 25 years of excellence in delivering unforgettable dining experiences rooted in tradition and craftsmanship.

Fresco offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, showcasing prime steaks, fresh seafood, and classic Italian cuisine, all thoughtfully prepared using the finest ingredients. The restaurant features five beautifully designed dining rooms, each offering its own distinctive character and flexibility. Ravello, our grandest space, accommodates up to 85 guests and is ideal for unforgettable celebrations. Milos welcomes up to 55 guests, followed by the Salina Room, which accommodates up to 45 guests. Cyprus offers an intimate setting for up to 34 guests, while Nido provides an exclusive, private atmosphere for gatherings of up to 18 guests.

Loucas Sofocli grew up in Cyprus, where a deep appreciation for Mediterranean flavors and family-style cooking shaped his culinary foundation. His passion for food began at just 14 years old, when he first stepped into the kitchen and discovered a lifelong calling.

Determined to refine his craft, Loucas pursued his culinary education at the New York Restaurant School, where he mastered classic techniques while embracing modern culinary artistry. His cuisine reflects a harmonious balance between traditional Mediterranean influences and contemporary presentation.

Today, Chef Loucas Sofocli proudly continues that legacy. After selling his flagship restaurant, LouCas Restaurant, he now dedicates his time to his acclaimed establishments—Fresco Italian Steak & Seafood Grill and Ponte Vecchio—celebrating 25 years of excellence in delivering unforgettable dining experiences rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.
